Edinburgh Cancels the Hogmanay Street Party

BBC Radio Scotland have just announced that Edinburgh Hogmanay Celebrations have been cancelled due to very high winds and adverse weather conditions.

The Highland 2007 Launch and Lifescan Monster Street Party events taking place in Inverness on 12 January 2007. Marking an t-Seann Bhliadhn’ Ùr, the Old New Year, the Highland 2007 Launch and Lifescan Monster Street Party is the first major event in the programme for Highland 2007, the year Scotland celebrates Highland culture.

The highland town of Drumnadrochit will be hosting its Hogmanay Festival again this year. It's part of a number of New Year events taking place in the Highlands. Join Hogmanay revellers near this famous monster-hunting town by Loch Ness from 28th December 2007 through till January 2nd 2008
